Detectives with the Brantford Police Service continue to investigate the 2016 homicide of 45-year-old Jeffrey James Roberts.
Jeffrey Roberts was reported missing on November 11, 2016, after he had not been seen or heard from since November 5, 2016. He was found deceased on November 21, 2016, when a citizen located his body in a field near the West Street/Highway 403 overpass. His death was ruled a homicide.
On the afternoon of Thursday, July 28, 2005, a citizen was walking her dog along an abandoned train track in a remote area of near Dufferin Avenue and Parkside Drive in the City of Brantford, when the body of a full term baby boy was discovered.
Thirty-nine years after the disappearance of Mary Hammond, detectives with the Brantford Police Service have identified a man believed to be responsible.
On Saturday, April 9, 1994, approximately 2:15 p.m. Michael James Lovejoy, age 35 years, was found dead in the sleeper portion of his transport tractor. He had been shot several times.
