Record Suspension Information
Each step in the Record Suspension Guide must be followed in sequence prior to filling out the application.
Step 1 - Obtain Your Criminal Record
DO NOT move on to Step 3 until you have received your certified criminal record. This documentation must be sent with your Record Suspension package.
Step 2 - Obtain Local Police Record
A Local Police Records Check Form must be completed by each Police Service where you have resided in the past five (5) years. The Brantford Police Service charges $55.00 for this service. However, if you also require a Local Police Records Check from another police agency, you will have to contact that police service in order to confirm the cost and procedures prior to attending.
Step 3 - Complete the Record Suspension Application Form
Once you have completed the process, you are now ready to fill in the Record Suspension Application Form.
